Diva Arora

Diva is a seasoned litigator with over two decades of courtroom experience. She divides her time between leading the firm’s commercial IP vertical, and strategizing complex, cross-border, and high-volume litigations for some of the firm’s key clients.

As a litigator, Diva has represented clients in a wide spectrum of civil and commercial disputes—including intellectual property matters, contract and property claims, and commercial arbitrations—appearing before numerous judicial and administrative forums across India. She is frequently consulted on complex issues concerning the protection and enforcement of trade secrets and confidential information.

In her commercial IP practice, Diva brings a strategic lens shaped by her experience at one of the Big Four consulting firms. She advises clients across industries on managing intangible assets—mitigating risks, strengthening legal defensibility, and unlocking commercial value. Her team conducts tailored IP audits for compliance, monetisation, risk mitigation, and transaction readiness—identifying gaps in protection, lapsed registrations, and underutilized rights, and offering targeted strategies for portfolio optimization. She also leads trade secret and confidentiality audits, helping businesses implement robust internal controls and contractual safeguards for sensitive information.

Diva’s team provides end-to-end legal support in drafting, negotiating, and enforcing a range of IP-related commercial agreements. Beyond IP, she has advised on joint venture structuring and drafted business purchase agreements, software development contracts, and service agreements.

A member of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), Diva regularly attends their Annual Conference. She also attends the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) annual conference and stays actively engaged with global IP developments.

Outside the legal arena, Diva is a national-level badminton player with several regional and national accolades. She is also a dedicated mentor to younger colleagues and an advocate for women’s issues within and beyond the profession.
