Shipra Shandilya

Shipra’s practice spans trademark prosecution and enforcement. She advises a range of Fortune 500 companies across diverse sectors, including technology, pharmaceuticals, and entertainment. Her expertise spans trademark searches, clearance, prosecution, and comprehensive brand enforcement before the Trademark Office and domain dispute forums. Shipra also oversees trademark matters in South Asia, including jurisdictions such as Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan, alongside her work in India. Notably, she spearheaded a quarterly enforcement project for a prominent tech client, resolving nearly 65% of cases through strategic letters and follow-ups alone, avoiding additional enforcement actions. Her accomplishments include securing a well-known mark declaration for ANDROID.

Shipra actively contributes to the firm’s pro bono initiatives, assisting organizations like Arpan, Freagles of India, Freedom Firm, and POFCAP. She also played a key role in a joint project by INTA and CIPAM, conceptualizing educational IP materials for children.

Shipra is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and volunteers her time for the ‘Trademark Office Practices Committee.’ Shipra regularly attends the INTA Annual Meeting.
